Our client is a logistics provider.
**Position Overview**
As a Sales (Airfreight), you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation within the Airfreight division. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Business Development**:
- Identifying and targeting potential customers in the airfreight industry, including manufacturers, exporters, and importers.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and achieve sales targets.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and visits.
- Understanding client needs and requirements, and tailoring solutions to meet their specific airfreight logistics needs.
**Sales Negotiation and Closure**:
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Closing sales deals by effectively presenting the company's services and value proposition to potential clients.
**Market Research and Analysis**:
- Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the airfreight sector.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
**Sales Reporting and Forecasting**:
- Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts, detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
- Providing insights and recommendations to management based on sales performance and market analysis.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the airfreight or logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office suite.
