**Purpose of Role**
The HR Manager will provide strategic, commercial and operational Human Resources advice to support the business in making effective workforce decisions. Reporting to HR Lead, SEA. This role will partner with relevant stakeholders and use people analytics to coach, guide and advise on organizational design, talent management, learning and development, reward and risk management. The incumbent will collaborate with SEA head office HR and Asia regional team to provide local insights to ensure Centers of Excellence ( CoEs ) are able to design programs and activities that are fit for purpose. In turn, this role will implement, manage and evaluate HR projects and activities across the portfolio in order to support Aesop Thailand’s operation and rapid business growth.
**Business Partnering**
- Work closely with HR Lead, SEA to identify the people implications of business plans
- Using data and insights, partner with Managers to undertake organizational design that ensures efficiency, simplicity and collaboration in line with business strategy
- Implement initiatives to address the improvement of engagement to drive a positive culture, change management, talent and performance management, and organizational development
- Design & deliver targeted people solutions to changing business and talent needs as retail industry evolves; be ahead of the curve in predicting future talent and leadership needs
- Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, reflective of legislation and best proactive and able to effectively protect the business
- Manage escalated underperformance, misconduct and grievances matters ensuring that disciplinary action and people issue handling are reasonable and complied with related regulations
- Support Managers and staff to identify training, development and career advancement opportunities in line with the growth and the direction of the organization
- Support and working closely with SEA HO’s HR team to design and develop improved programs and activities through market insights and feedback
- Report generation to fulfil requirement of government authorities.
**Talent Acquisition**
- Contribute to HR’s strategic purpose of supporting the business growth by ensuring we attract and retain the best people and implement best practice development and career paths to grow talent from within and build leaders who drive and inspire engaged
- Work on the complete end to end recruitment process for both office/store-based with Hiring Managers and other stakeholders for management level by setting clear expectations, managing risks, following up and setting clear deadlines and responsibilities.
- Manage talent data and translate into our talent pipelines. Use insights to develop, launch and sustain the creation of the talent sourcing plan that will ensure Aesop is finding extraordinary talent. Plan proactive resourcing methods, including but not limited to career fairs, recruitment events, holiday hiring events
- Work closely with HR Lead, SEA to build employer brand through various programs - internship program, university recruiting, DE&I initiatives
**Risk Management**
- Implement high level confidentiality protocols about all employee information.
- Ensure the provisions of employment agreements are upheld and compliant with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Manage escalated underperformance, misconduct and grievances matters ensuring that disciplinary action is fair and reasonable.
- Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, reflective of legislation and best proactive and able to effectively protect the business.
- Monitor the working environment ensuring that, as far as reasonably practicable, it is safe and without risks to the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees, contractors and visitors.
- Creation and implementation of occupational health and safety procedures in conjunction with the retail operations team where required.
- Ensure staff are educated and made aware of their obligations in the workplace pertaining to risk and occupational health and safety.
**HR Operations**
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiencies.
- Work closely with SEA HO’s HR team on processing payroll, workday management and annual HR processes and ensuring practises are in accordance with local laws requirements.
**Technical Requirements**
- Experience within retail, customer service, or hospitality industries.
**Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Demonstrated experience bringing forward valuable insights through HR analytics.
- Experience in workforce optimization, talent management, and leadership development.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
