Arxada Thailand is looking for a Accounting Manager based in Ladkrabang. This role involves preparing general ledger entries and accounting information for month-end/year-end financial closings, as well as participating in the preparation of financial statements for the region. The position also includes monitoring Product Cost functions, coordinating with local teams and inventory planning, summarizing Tolling product cost, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Additionally, the role involves maintaining internal controls, verifying financial information accuracy, coordinating government and tax filings, and preparing financial analysis and reports on customer sales cost and margins. You will assist the Regional Finance Director AMEAI with the efficient management and controls of subsidiaries in the region.

Essential Job Functions:

- Prepares and posts monthly journal entries and participates in month-end closing activities
- Analyses and evaluates various types of financial data and information to prepare accurate and timely income statement and balance sheet reports so that the company knows its financial status, month end and year end reports
- Maintain the accuracy of the financial system and evaluate system issues and resolve or escalate to appropriate personnel immediately
- Responsible for accurately maintaining the fixed asset ledgers and lease obligations of various European entities, including completing monthly reconciliations of sub-ledgers and reconciling statutory and management reports after closing local statutory accounts
- Coordinate and work with the local accounting service and accounting, tax, transfer pricing and local compliance consulting firm to submit the local compliance report on time
- Review monthly standard cost and update product cost, BOM for assigned companies
- Prepare inventory control and analysis report, toll manufacturing products, ageing inventory, WIP and expired shelf life, off-spec and disposal reports
- Analyse budget data to identify variances so that financial statements can be reconciled and prepared
- Assists in the implementation of financial systems in the region
- Maintains appropriate financial controls over area of responsibility

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting - MBA is a plus
- Business fluent in English
- Advanced Accounting experience in a Chemical manufacturing environment - International finance accounting is a plus
- SAP accounting background will be advantage
- Strong in computer proficiency
- Independent and a growth mindset
