**Responsibilities**
- Designing and executing a strategic plan for Continuing Medical Education, focusing on delivering high-quality educational programs for Medical Doctors, and other health care professionals.
- Overseeing all aspects of Continuing Medical Education conferences, whether onsite or virtual. This includes venue reservations, catering arrangements, conference registrations, and technical support coordination.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless and professional execution of all conference-related tasks on time.
- Developing an annual agenda of conference topics and formulate a marketing strategy to promote each event.
- Tracking income and expenses to ensure conference attendance and financial profitability.
- Researching professional trends to identify and develop new strategic opportunities for revenue generation.
- Developing the annual departmental budget with revenue and expense projections.
- Developing new business opportunities to meet and exceed financial goals.
- Planning and executing the development of Continuing Education programs, regularly reviewing their appropriateness, quality, and overall success. Maintain and improve related policies and procedures.
- Working closely with the Sales team to promote products and educate customers on their features.
- Providing continuous education to the National Sales Team (NST) until they can proficiently handle technical sales.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Education, or relevant field required.
- Proven experience in conference management or event planning, with a track record of 3 or more years as preferred.
- Background in business development, educational program development, or the design of continuing professional education and outcomes-based courses.
- Experience in curriculum development, editing, or work with professional development programs and associations.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with Medical Doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills including presentations, writing, active listening, and synthesizing information from diverse sources when working with colleagues, members, and volunteers.
- Proficiency in organizing and executing multiple high-quality programs and activities on budget and according to established timelines.
- Leadership experience and project management skills including managing channels and partnerships.
