Manager, Business Development

Collaboration with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short
- and long-term business development plans.
Be the key contact person and account manager of assigned projects.
Create informative presentations; deliver information to potential clients at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
Maintain existing partners, create own portfolio to reach team annual target.
Expand AirAsia Academy exposure by developing communications strategies, campaigns and initiatives to improve the positive reputation of AirAsia Academy.
Be well-versed in digital communications with the ability to translate insights, data and key engagement metrics, and optimize into effective and efficient communications campaigns include manage media / related KOL inquiries and interview requests.
Manage end-to-end process of each account including agreement, payment-outstanding, product knowledge, systems.
Monitor market and competitor movements, analyze and provide feedback for marketing campaigns.
Identify, qualify and secure business opportunities; coordinate business generation activities; develop custom targeted sales strategies.
Review client feedback and implement necessary changes.
Work closely with internal parties.
Prepare product proposals and presentation tools.
Prepare Marketing Communications and/ or Sales Plans and Sales Report on a weekly basis.
Help deliver projects/processes as part of transitions in support to operations.
Equip staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree or above in any related field.
Experience with marketing communications and prospect management, account management background preferred.
Relevant experience in the travel industry. Customer base will be an advantage.
3+ years in related field, willing to learn and deliver attitude.
Excellent written & communication skills with detail and information oriented, excellent storytelling skills.
Excellent professional interpersonal skills, able to work across functions to find interesting topics and content to develop into compelling narratives.
Fluent English communication.
Strong end-to-end project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be individual contributor and team player.
Problem-solving in a collaborative manner with cross-functional team member.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset, inclusive leader.
