**Role Definition**:
Lead general accounting administration for assigned region. Analyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, timely completeness and conformance to corporate accounting standards, US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Act as liaison with country accounting and finance team members to organize and summarize reports for month end, quarterly and annual closings. Work with third-party tax advisors and prepare timely VAT reporting and necessary tax declarations. Lead accounting team and coordinate with other finance teams regionally and globally. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from manager and other senior professionals.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Lead general accounting duties for assigned entities. Ensure accurate and timely input of financial data and update SAP records. Comply with required schedule and ad hoc financial reports requirements. Analyze data, identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Review general ledger entries and vouchers to ensure compliance with US and local GAAP and Novus accounting policies.
- Review GL accounts reconciliation and follow up to close outstanding items.
- Coordinate with all Asian entities and functions to ensure timely and accurate closing on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Support the country statutory audits. Supply data to local external auditors as necessary. Escalate issues and risks on a timely basis.
- Complete and review tax filings on a timely basis. Keep abreast of changes in statutory regulations and other tax filing requirements.
- Monitor bank administration activities and support corporate treasury services.
- Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Management System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment.

**General Guidance for Key Knowledge/Skills/Experience**:

- Proven working knowledge of local and multinational accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS) and internal control requirements.
- 5 years or above working experience in accounting. The experience of covering GL/Tax outside of Thailand is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge and experience of ERP is a must (and SAP experience is preferred)
- Team player with good communication skills
- Good at MS Office; excellent Excel skill is required

- Manage task assignment and personal effectiveness appraisal within region and respective teams.
- Provide frequent, accurate, specific and timely feedback.
- Coach individuals and teams to ensure an integrated and collaborative effort to competently service customers.
- Engage in the training and development of team members and manage succession plans.
- Foster process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
