Business Unit Manager

Our client is a leading global provider of Medical Devices. This company is comprised of professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing their devices to their customers.
The Business Unit Manager will lead a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our interventional medical device product portfolio. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, product development, and overall business performance of your unit.
**Responsibilities**
- Developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy for the Interventional unit, aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify growth opportunities, set clear objectives, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Overseeing the development, manufacturing, and lifecycle management of interventional. Ensure products meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.
- Conducting in-depth market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Utilize market insights to make informed product decisions.
- Working closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure seamless product development, regulatory compliance, and commercialization.
- Developing and managing budgets for the business unit. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including product managers, engineers, and regulatory specialists.
- Ensuring that all interventional medical devices comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to maintain compliance.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for market expansion and global market entry. Develop and implement market access and distribution strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and customers to gather feedback and insights for product improvement.
- Utilizing data and analytics to make data-driven decisions, assess product performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical engineering, Business, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience of at least 5 years of managing a Commercial team.
- Experience in managing interventional medical device product lines or related products, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Fluent in English.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities.
