JOB DESCRIPTION

A Sales Manager - Groups, Meetings and Events – National Sales Office Thailand is responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, meetings and events by driving sales acquisitions, maximizing business opportunities and increasing business conversions. The person is knowledgeable on local market trends and competitor activities and would recommend strategic sales initiatives to win and maintain hotel's market leader position in groups, meetings and events for all portfolio hotels in Hilton Thailand.

What will you be doing?

As Sales Manager - Groups, Meetings and Events – National Sales Office Thailand, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Utilize knowledge of local and international market MICE contacts and events to drive and support business acquisition and conversion.
Drive lead generation across identified segments for all portfolio hotels in Hilton Thailand
Work with all stakeholders to ensure support for business conversion, including follow up on leads' conversion with support from room sales team; work with business support and revenue team for optimized pricing strategy
Conduct sales visits, product presentations (including virtual sessions), site inspections and attend tradeshows to drive business acquisitions.
Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
Communicate with all hotels if there are account specific opportunities for Hilton Thailand portfolio.
Attend Sales events when required representing National Sales Office Thailand
Report on a weekly/monthly basis appointments, calls made, and list of business leads
Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner
Identify gaps in revenue contribution and recommend implementation of initiatives to mitigate shortfalls.
Achieve and exceed sales targets as an individual and contribute to team's revenue targets.
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Business degree, or any relevant qualification, would be advantageous
