Utilizing advanced technologies such as Passive House standards, HVAC systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Twin, we help clients achieve Net Zero goals while optimizing energy use and enhancing air quality.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer who can lead high-performance HVAC design from concept to approval, ensuring every system is accurate, energy-efficient and aligned with international sustainability standards, and connecting engineering decisions to real energy and cost outcomes for our clients. We want a hands-on technical leader who challenges assumptions, solves problems proactively and raises the capability of the team around them.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Technical Design & Analysis
• Present HVAC design approaches and advanced EUI/performance analysis, ensuring alignment with high-efficiency and international sustainability standards.
• Develop and improve working methods and cooling load calculation approaches to enhance accuracy, consistency and engineering reliability.
• Support feasibility studies by performing basic ROI and payback analyses for energy-saving solutions, connecting design decisions with financial impact to help justify client investment. 2. Design Review & Quality Control
• Oversee, review and approve design drawings, calculation reports and technical documents across all design stages to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Analyze issues raised by site teams, capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into the design, providing appropriate and cost-effective engineering solutions. 3. Coordination & Client Communication
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP teams to resolve cross-discipline issues and ensure seamless system integration.
• Communicate and present technical information to clients and consultants with clarity and sound professional engineering judgement. 4. Team Development & Delivery
• Mentor and review the work to maintain design standards and strengthen team capability.
• Work with the Team Lead to plan design resources, monitor progress and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables. 5. Other Duties
• Support the team and the company, and coordinate with relevant parties on other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2
- 5 years of HVAC design experience for buildings.
• Strong technical capability in chiller plant, heat recovery and VRF system design, including equipment selection and performance analysis.
• Familiar with local and international standards, including EIT, ASHRAE, LEED and WELL.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and cooling load calculation software (HAP 6.0 or above).
• Passionate about sustainable HVAC design principles for tropical climates.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions, validate information and drive tasks proactively.
• Eager to learn and collaborate, with a proactive and improvement-driven mindset.
• Fluent in Thai, with good English communication skills for coordination with international and local stakeholders.
• Knowledge of PHI (Passive House Institute) standards would be a strong advantage.
• Experience in hospital projects would be a plus.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Competitive salary with attractive commission and incentive structure tied to business performance
• Opportunity to work on advanced HVAC, energy-efficiency, and sustainability projects
• Direct exposure to strategic commercial projects and high-level stakeholders
• Technical and business training from experienced Engineering and Management teams
• Collaborative environment focused on efficiency, innovation, and long-term impact
