Our client is seeking a General Manager to lead business growth, take full responsibility for the local P&L, and oversee sales, technical services, and supply chain operations. Job Summary The General Manager will oversee Thailand operations, driving business growth, managing local P&L, and leading Sales, Technical Service, and Supply Chain functions for the business operation and expansion in Thailand Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the local business plan to grow market share in Thailand's commercial, leisure, and industrial sectors.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the heavy machinery industry.
- Manage the complete P&L, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting for the Thailand entity.
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and technical after-sales support.
- Ensure strict compliance with Thai labor laws, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team across sales, engineering/service, and administration.
- Drive key account management and support the sales team in closing complex marine equipment deals.
- Foster a strong company culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior business operations leader or commercial leader, with a strong track record of driving commercial performance and business growth.
- Progressive commercial experience in the oil and gas, shipping, heavy machinery, or equipment industries.
- Strong knowledge of the heavy machinery industry, with excellent commercial acumen and expertise in business development, strategic planning, and market expansion.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
