We are looking for a hands-on infrastructure professional to be our critical person on the ground for OneQode's first AI infrastructure deployment in Thailand. Working with our global datacenter operations team, you will drive delivery of the project day to day, keeping vendors and contractors on track and taking the site through to commissioning and live service. Once the site is live, you will stay on to oversee ongoing maintenance and support of the infrastructure. This is a generalist role across a varied mix of work: racks and high-density compute, structured cabling and fibre, network equipment, site IT services, and the coordination that brings it all together. It suits someone who is equally comfortable checking fibre test results in the morning and running a contractor meeting in the afternoon. Responsibilities
• Drive delivery of the Thailand deployment on site, against the project plan and milestones.
• Coordinate cabling contractors, equipment vendors, carriers and the facility provider.
• Oversee installation of racks, structured cabling, fibre, network equipment and compute infrastructure.
• Support testing, commissioning and acceptance, and make sure everything is documented at handover.
• Work with facilities teams to confirm power, cooling and space are ready ahead of IT installs.
• Report progress, risks and issues clearly to our global teams.
• Prepare the site and documentation for a smooth handover into live operations.
• After go-live, oversee ongoing maintenance, support and improvement of the site's infrastructure. Preferred Skills and Experience
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, IT services or systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with at least one data centre build, fit-out or migration.
• Broad technical knowledge across networking, servers and structured cabling (copper and fibre).
• Experience coordinating contractors and vendors on site.
• Fluent Thai and professional English.
• Willingness to stay on after project completion to provide ongoing maintenance and oversight.
• Practical. You solve problems on site rather than escalating them.
• Organised. You keep track of many moving parts and communicate clearly.
• Background at a systems integrator, cabling contractor, data centre operator or managed service provider is a plus. We do not expect every candidate to have experience in all of these areas. If you have strong infrastructure fundamentals, sound judgement and a drive to get things delivered, we would still like to hear from you.
