About the role
We are seeking a talented Facility Engineer to join our team at KYOCERA AVX Components (Bangkok) Ltd. in Nakhon Ratchasima. As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance of our production facilities, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner to minimise disruptions to production
- Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement improvements to facility operations
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Providing technical support and guidance to facility staff as needed
- Participating in the planning and execution of facility upgrades and expansions
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facility Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of facility management best practices, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
