Back-end Engineer

• Build scalable APIs and microservices primarily using Go (Golang) and TypeScript.
• Design clean, intuitive, and well-documented APIs (REST/gRPC) for our web applications and external-facing CLI tools.
• Design optimal, scalable database structures. Optimize schemas (SQL-based on MariaDB/Postgres and NoSQL-based on MongoDB) and queries to ensure low latency and high availability.
• Participate in task planning and provide realistic estimations.
• Learn from team members and mentor junior engineers, promoting an environment that supports curiosity and improves overall code quality.
• Take ownership of features from concept to deployment. We value a "team player" mindset; we help each other succeed through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Write robust, testable code and ensure long-term system stability.

• Thai native speaker, based in Bangkok or the Bangkok Metropolitan Region.
• 3+ years of experience in Back-end Development (with significant experience in Go and/or TypeScript. Experience in other languages such as C, C++, or Rust is acceptable, provided your knowledge is transferable to Go).

• Our Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Go (Standard library, concurrency patterns, and error handling) and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of database design (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.

• Experience designing and implementing APIs (RESTful or gRPC).
• Strong understanding of version control (Git/GitLab) and CI/CD concepts.
• Self-driven and responsible. You thrive in a flexible environment where output matters most.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and a desire to share knowledge with the team.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Notion, and Jira.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Responsible and effective use of AI Coding Assistants. We value curiosity regarding the evolution of AI, provided it is balanced with technical ownership and code integrity.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) or managing open-source infrastructure tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices involving Docker and Kubernetes (specifically using APIs/CLIs for development workflows) and CI tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Previous experience with billing systems, payment gateways, complex transaction handling, or usage-based cost computation.
• Experience building command-line interfaces (CLIs) for developer tools or open-source libraries.
