JOB SUMMARY

This position plays a crucial role in sourcing and securing subcontractors and suppliers for project execution, including construction, installation, and maintenance work. You will oversee the evaluation and selection process, ensuring that all vendors meet the required financial, technical, and compliance standards. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring that all procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets to support successful project delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to define procurement requirements for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Contractor Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of contractors, including financial, technical, and performance history checks, to ensure reliability and compliance.

  • Contractor Sourcing: Identify and select qualified contractors for construction, installation, and maintenance projects based on technical expertise and project demands.

  • Project Material & Service Sourcing: Source and procure project-related materials, equipment, and services according to project specifications and requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

  • Reference Price Update: Update average price of materials, equipment, devices, labors, and other related products to compare with supplier's proposal.

  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, and project timelines with selected vendors, ensuring the best possible terms for B.Grimm.

  • Documentation: Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts, ensuring all documents are accurate and comply with legal and company standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance throughout the project, resolving issues related to quality, cost, or delivery timelines.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers while coordinating with internal teams to manage budgets, procurement schedules, and project milestones effectively.

  • Contractor Payment Control: Oversee and verify payments to subcontractors and suppliers for projects, ensuring alignment with customer payments to maximize financial flow across all projects.

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in procurement, with a focus on project procurement for construction, installation, or maintenance services.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.

  • Proficient in conducting financial and performance assessments of subcontractors and suppliers, with attention to accuracy in documentation and compliance. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are crucial. Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.

  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to secure favorable terms.

  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address supplier performance, delivery, and cost management issues.
