Science Lab Technician
The PHS Science Department embraces learning through hands-on laboratory experiments and use of educational technology. We are looking for a highly motivated Science Lab Technician to join our team and help continue the development of our Science Department.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Coordinate with science teachers to help run a safe and efficient department.
- Help maintain science labs to a high standard.
- Prepare and collect materials for various science experiments, as requested by science teachers.
- Make and maintain volatile acid/base solutions required for most chemistry labs.
- Keep an inventory of chemicals, glassware and other equipment.
- Ordering equipment and supplies for the Science Department, and maintaining records of all purchases.
- Carrying out and arranging for maintenance and repair of specialist equipment.
- Ensure the spent materials are disposed of properly.
- Assist the teacher in lab demonstrations and support students with data collection.
Employment Criteria:
- Thai National.
- A qualification in any area of science.
- A strong work ethic and professional approach to working with international staff and young students.
- English communication skills equivalent to a TOEIC score of 650 or above.
- Experience with Google Workplace apps is preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary starts at 23,000 baht/month
- 12 month contract with paid school holidays.
