Position Overview

The Customer Care Specialist (CCS) is an inside business development role that plays a critical part in driving sales growth and supporting new account development within the TIC business. This position works closely with New Account Managers (NAMs) and Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to generate qualified leads, convert inquiries into opportunities, and expand service penetration across assigned customer segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales process by engaging prospective and existing customers, providing initial service information and qualifying business opportunities
  • Proactively promote testing and certification services to customers currently using competitor TIC providers
  • Prepare and manage quotations and proposals, coordinating closely with technical and operations teams
  • Follow up on open quotations and sales opportunities to drive conversion and pipeline progression
  • Maintain and develop assigned customer accounts, ensuring strong service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Generate and nurture qualified sales leads to support New Account Managers in achieving booking targets
  • Research customer industries and accounts to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives, including campaigns, events, and customer outreach activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely response to customer needs
  • Adhere to health, safety, and compliance requirements in all business activities
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Success, or Business Development
  • Prior exposure to Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) or technical services industries is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in English, with confidence engaging customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and standard business tools
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify commercial opportunities
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to grow within a structured sales organization
