Job Summary

The Senior SAP Specialist will lead the functional design and support for SAP MM and WM modules. A key focus of this role is the implementation and optimization of SAP WM for the Finished Goods Warehouse. You will act as the bridge between factory operations and technical development, ensuring integrated solutions that drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Delivery & Implementation: Lead requirement gathering and process design for the SAP WM project. Ensure the system supports factory operations and finished goods management effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Sr. SD Specialist to manage end-to-end integration across the supply chain, specifically the SD-MM-WM touchpoints (e.g., Stock Transport Orders, Picking, and Outbound Delivery).
  • Technical Integration (ABAP): Translate business needs into high-quality Functional Specifications. Work closely with the ABAP Manager and Sr. ABAPER to develop custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Operational Support: Act as the primary point of contact for factory users. Manage issue logs, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions for MM/WM incidents.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conduct training sessions to ensure high system adoption and proficiency among factory personnel.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in SAP MM/WM support or implementation, with a deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flows.

  • Technical Skills: * Expert knowledge in SAP MM (Procurement/Inventory) and WM (Bin Management/Strategies).

  • Strong experience in writing Functional Specifications and performing system configuration.

  • Understanding of integration points between MM, WM, SD, and PP.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with both functional peers and technical developers.
  • Mobility: Must be able to provide on-site support at the factory to understand actual shop-floor requirements and resolve issues.
