About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Operations Consultant to join a leading regional manufacturing group. This position plays a key role in bridging business operations with technology by analyzing, designing, and implementing enterprise software solutions that drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, ensuring that enterprise applications, primarily SAP and related operational systems, are effectively configured and optimized to support the organizations goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement enterprise software solutions to meet operational and business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into system functionality.
- Manage and execute system change requests, validating their impact on existing processes.
- Design, customize, and implement enterprise software enhancements aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a knowledge steward and data governor for master and transactional data within operations.
- Lead process improvement and technology optimization initiatives across the operational domain.
- Develop and implement solution roadmaps to support business growth and efficiency.
- Provide SAP application support as part of ongoing business operations.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in SAP implementation and operations across modules, including PP, MM, and PM, as well as related enterprise software and non-SAP applications.
- Strong PP configuration and MM integration point experience
- Proven track record of successfully driving enterprise software-related change requests, process improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and related systems, with an in-depth understanding of business processes, functionality, and integration with operational applications.
- Strong analytical mindset with a solid grasp of business economics and financial resources.
- Skilled in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive problem solver with a positive Can Do attitude.
- Experience in community management, mentorship, and knowledge sharing is an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Business or Information Technology.
