Job Description

Duni Thailand is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the company's full spectrum of accounting operations. This senior role is responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, internal controls, and ensuring accuracy and integrity across all financial activities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex accounting processes in a fast-moving organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Accounting Operations

  • Plan, implement, and oversee the company's overall accounting strategy.
  • Supervise daily accounting operations across accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, treasury, utilities, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
  • Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis and ensure accuracy across capital asset reconciliations, trust account statements, check runs, fixed assets, and debt activity.
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data to maintain integrity and compliance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, monthly closing packages, and statements to management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Validate and approve monthly and annual tax liabilities, ensuring correct application of tax legislation.
  • Handle VAT reconciliations, submissions, and payments to tax and social security authorities.
  • Liaise with auditors and lead annual audit processes.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

  • Verify and review the Stock Management Report.
  • Close month-end inventory in the system according to agreed timelines.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all end-to-end inventory transactions.
  • Review stock movement reports and coordinate with relevant departments.

Leadership & Management

  • Set up and monitor key accounting KPIs.
  • Encourage team adherence to standard procedures and ensure continuous compliance.
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements, process optimisation, and financial efficiency.
  • Meet financial accounting and reporting objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (B.Acc.) — CPA or master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least several years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong command of tax legislation, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and databases (experience with SAP B1 required; WinSpeed, MAC 5, and CD Organizer are advantages).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and integrity.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively across departments.
  • Experience in cost accounting and inventory management is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team leadership mindset.
