Job Description

  1. Develop product concepts to meet customer needs or support sales and marketing initiatives.
  2. Discover and integrate new innovations and technologies into prototype product development.
  3. Research, monitor, and analyze market trends and product technologies, and share insights with the research and innovation team as well as the sales and marketing department.
  4. Manage intellectual property related to the department, including trade secrets, invention patents, petty patents, and design patents.

Qualifications

  1. Education:  Bachelor's degree in Science Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  2. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in cosmetic product research and development.
  3. Experience in Cosmetic Formulation Development.

Skills and expertise

  1. Ability to develop products, solve problems logically, and operate laboratory instruments and equipment used in product research and development.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of relevant quality systems such as GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 22716, and Halal certification.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint/ Canva, Outlook).
  4. Proficient in listening, speaking, writing, and reading English at a communicable level.
  5. Strong organizational and management skills.
  6. Ability to supervise and manage subordinates effectively.

  1. Detail-oriented, observant, and creative.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Responsible and dedicated to assigned tasks.
  4. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and summarize experimental results logically.
