Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT security controls across IT and OT systems, including Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), container handling equipment systems, and logistics platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and incidents to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and risk assessments across networks, servers, applications, and OT systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with local and international cybersecurity requirements.
  • Manage and maintain security infrastructure such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity management, and data-loss prevention tools.
  • Coordinate incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation plans.
  • Work closely with IT Infrastructure, Network, TOS, Automation, and Operational Teams to ensure secure deployment and configuration of systems.
  • Support cybersecurity audits, ISO 27001/ISO 28000, and regulatory compliance related to maritime, port, and logistics operations.
  • Lead or support cybersecurity awareness training for employees and contractors.
  • Ensure secure integration of terminal systems with shipping lines, customs, logistics partners, and external platforms.
  • Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity resilience testing.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity engineering, network security, or related fields.
  • Experience in logistics, port operations, freight forwarding, maritime systems, or industrial/OT environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, EDR/XDR solutions).
  • Knowledge of OT security for industrial systems (SCADA, PLC, terminal automation) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS frameworks, and maritime/port security requirements.
  • Experience responding to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and preparing reports.
  • Understanding of cloud security (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of secure configuration, patch management, and identity access management (IAM).

  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments (IT, Operations, Engineering, Security).
  • High responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
