About the role

Autoliv (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join our team in Chon Buri. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for rigorously testing and validating our cutting-edge automotive safety systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your work will have a direct impact on the safety and well-being of drivers and passengers around the world.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to evaluate the performance and reliability of our products
  2. Analysing test data, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions to improve product quality
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions
  4. Documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations in detailed reports
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensuring our testing processes are fully compliant
  6. Providing training and guidance to junior team members on testing best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar test engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry
  3. Proficient in using test equipment, data analysis tools, and test automation software
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automotive safety systems
  7. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
