Engineering Specialist III

We are Slider Process, a team based at the Seagate Korat Slider Factory. We are currently seeking a technician with strong capabilities in supporting and well managing cleaning processes. Our team is focused on supporting future product requirements, improving cleanliness standards and enhancing defect quality performance. As a cleaning process technician, you will be a key contributor to maintaining high standards for our cleaning performance in machining Front & Back area environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Machine Performance Monitoring: Track KPIVs/KPOVs, support machine buy-off activities and respond promptly to deviations from performance targets.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Execute data queries and perform analysis to support engineering decisions using tools such as Excel Pivot Tables
• Technical Support: Collaborate with engineers on investigations and experiments aimed at process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, product, and tooling teams to drive operational success.
• Special Projects: Contribute to Kaizen and Lean initiatives and take on assignments that strengthen team and departmental performance.

You bring:

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Strong multitasking skills and flexibility to adapt priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau and SQL, coupled with solid analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• A collaborative mindset, strong organizational skills, and openness to new ideas.

• Basic English communication skills.

• A Diploma or higher in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer science, Materials science, or related fields.

• Experience in slider fabrication or HDD manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with cleaning machines and chemical solvents (advantageous).
