Engineering Specialist II

Our team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and accuracy of slider metrology equipment and maintaining optimal performance of manufacturing tools. We collaborate closely with process engineers, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance to support production goals and continuous improvement.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on slider metrology equipment (e.g., XRF, OpicaTE, EAVS, AFM, DLC coating systems)
• Ensure equipment calibration and measurement accuracy according to ISO and internal standards
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures and process deviations
• Drive corrective actions and collaborate with engineering and factory personnel to resolve technical issues
• Support process improvement initiatives, including FMEA updates, Gage R&R analysis, and capability studies
• Prepare and present technical documentation for audits, customer visits, and internal reviews
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet production targets and quality standards
• Be assigned additional tasks and responsibilities that contribute to team, department, and company goals

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees.
