Overview of the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reporting Specialist to join our automotive distribution company in South-East Asia. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support our business decisions and strategies. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze and interpret data from various sources to produce reports and presentations for management and stakeholders. In particular, liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to collect information for decision making support for the Automobile function as a while
  • Develop and implement data-driven reporting systems to monitor business performance, including KPIs and metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements, data sources, and data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting calendar to ensure timely delivery of reports and analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across all reporting channels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization of reporting.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on report usage and interpretation.

Background and experience

  • Master degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in reporting and data analysis in the automotive industry
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in simple terms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working in a multinational company and familiarity with cultural differences in South-East Asia
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Willingness to travel within South-East Asia as required
