Mowi is renowned global multinational company in the seafood industry. We are establishing a new manufacturing facility in Thailand as part of our strategic expansion; hence we are looking for an experienced candidate to join with us.

Mowi is the world's largest producer of farm-raised salmon measured by both volume and turnover. We offer seafood products to more than 70 countries, are represented in 26 countries and employ 11,500 people.

Mowi is organized in three business areas: Feed, Farming and Sales & Marketing.

Purpose of the Position

The Quality Control (QC) Staff is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying product quality and staff hygiene at all stages of production, from raw material receiving to finished goods delivery. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, quality specifications, and GMP practices, while identifying any deviations and coordinating corrective actions with the production team.

Responsibilities & Duties

1) This position covers the following duties, but not limited to:

·       Inspect raw materials upon receiving

·       Monitor production process and conduct in-process quality checks

·       Verify staff hygiene and GMP compliance

·       Inspect finished goods before release

·       Record and report deviations or non-conformities

·       Coordinate corrective actions with the production team

·       Maintain QC documents and inspection records

2) In this position, following job level is expected in general

·       Basic knowledge of food safety, GMP, and hygiene standards

·       Ability to perform routine inspections and quality checks independently

·       Basic decision-making skills for identifying and reporting non-conformities

·       Ability to communicate clearly with production staff and supervisors

·       Accountability for accurate documentation and reporting

·       Ability to follow standard procedures and work instructions (SOP/WI)

·       Attention to detail and commitment to product quality

Academic & Trades Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.

Work Experience & Skills

  • At least 1.3 years of experience in food quality control, preferably in seafood or salmon processing.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, quality control, and GMP
  • Training in HACCP, ISO, or other quality standards is a plus
  • Practical experience in production or QC environment is advantageous
  • 6 days working
