About the role

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance-Accounting Lead to join the dynamic Trading & Engineering team at MRIT' in their Bang Na, Bangkok office. As the Finance-Accounting Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for this fast-paced, innovative organisation. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of 60,000 to 80,000 Thai baht.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for the Trading & Engineering business unit
  2. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  3. Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls
  6. Supervise and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals
  7. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Trading & Engineering leadership team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the trading or engineering industries
  2. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, such as IFRS or Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS)
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
  5. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred
