Overview:

Seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead all Quality Assurance (QA), Quality In-Process (QIP), Quality Control (QC), and Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the manufacturing site. This role is responsible for ensuring product integrity, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing the quality culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Fostering a strong safety culture within QA/QC/QMS functions through regular safety briefings, audits, and proactive incident prevention initiatives.
  • Overseeing the quality compliance of incoming raw materials to ensure appropriate inputs for production.
  • Leading the qualification and development of alternative raw material suppliers by evaluating specifications, testing samples, and conducting plant trials to minimize supply risk.
  • Acting as the management representative to ensure compliance with all quality systems.
  • Leading and conducting internal and external audit activities, including closure of audit recommendations.
  • Implementing new customer approvals and customer-specific CIPs as per the quality roadmap.
  • Conducting cleanroom metrology capability analysis and customer qualification.
  • Training and mentoring the QA/QC team on statistical process control (SPC), data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies to strengthen process capability.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities, establishing quality performance targets, and implementing initiatives to achieve them.
  • Managing laboratory CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and timely completion of lab improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Chemical, FMCG, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Solid understanding of quality systems, analytical testing, and process control, with familiarity with 8D methodology and FMEA.
  • Proficiency in Lean or Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
