About the Role:
As a CBRE People Business Sr. Partner, you will direct the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.
The Senior People BP will be responsible for partnering with the Country Manager/MD across a small medium sized Division or country.
Job description:
- Produce and own the People Plan for the Division/Country (small-medium sized), to deliver key customer and business objectives
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure CBRE's culture and RISE values are constantly demonstrated through on-site colleagues delivering exceptional service
- Ensure their is an active talent and succession plan, with a talent pool that supports the wider business talent plan
- Drive talent development initiatives to improve competence and capability of talent
- Own the induction process of new colleagues through regular engagement and tracking to support the achievement of improved attrition rates
- Lead and develop the people BP's and People Advisors
- Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and wider Local People Team to support and lead on the implementation of best practice people initiatives
- Ensure that the Division is educated and equipped to operate people policies and practices in line with company best practices, with access to tools and advice needed to effectively manage employee performance
- Act as a role model for CBRE RISE values and leadership behaviors
- Lead on action planning from the outputs of employee engagement surveys, driving engagement plans, and reinforcing CBRE's culture and behaviors, including RISE to Exceptional, employee listening, exceptional awards, and communications
- Demonstrate positive employee engagement through HR metrics such as turnover and absence and have plans in place that drive continuous improvement
- Take ownership of complex ER cases, providing employment law expertise, policy advice and guidance to manage ER risk, providing solutions and follow up with managers
- Act as a mediation or escalation point in disputes or formal proceedings
- Translate business and People MI trends to provide data-driven insight and inform actions / decisions / solutions, working in partnership with central People functions to ensure the accurate recording of People data and People MI reporting
- Be the custodian of People data, ensuring the completion of regular checking and responding to central requests to validate data
- Champion the People systems, ensuring teams are educated and upskilled to ensure effective use
- Promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture, demonstrated through events, initiatives and key data metrics
- Own the local delivery of annual People plan activities, including talent review, performance review, salary review and workforce planning
- Lead the Division's annual pay review process, in line with contract anniversary if applicable
- Work with the wider business to make sure a consistent pay and reward framework is operated across the Division, including use of reward MI and salary benchmarking data
- Ownership of the workforce resourcing plan, ensuring the acquisition of appropriate skills, talent and attributes to deliver exceptional service, in line with global Talent Principles
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of local employment law, trade union and works council impacts.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
