Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and monitor the implementation of corporate and regional safety policies, including Coca-Cola safety standards, within the area of responsibility.
  • Standardize safety practices across all locations under the area's management.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to safety officers within the area, ensuring alignment with corporate safety objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of safety team members, offering constructive feedback and development opportunities.
  • Facilitate training, skill enhancement, and succession planning for subordinate safety officer professionals and advance technical level.
  • Provide and update working manual handbook for safety officers both professional level and advance technical level.
  • Conduct area-wide risk assessments, focusing on high-risk activities such as working in the market, material handling, vehicle operations, and transportation.
  • Work with local teams to mitigate risks through engineering controls, administrative measures, and safety training.
  • Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and Coca-Cola safety requirements.
  • Lead and support safety audits and inspections, providing guidance for corrective actions and driving timely closure of findings
  • Review and oversee investigations of incidents, near misses, and non-compliances within the area.
  • Analyze trends from incident data to identify systemic issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Organize and deliver safety training tailored to site-specific risks and job functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Build competency among site safety representatives and leaders through coaching and mentoring.
  • Serve as the primary safety point of contact for site managers and leadership teams in the area.
  • Facilitate safety committee meetings and cross-functional collaboration to improve safety practices and drive ownership at all levels.
  • Develop and assess emergency response plans across the assigned area to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and readiness for potential incidents.
  • Coordinate regular drills and align emergency plans with local emergency services to enhance preparedness and collaboration
  • Promote a safety-first mindset by leading campaigns, recognition programs, and engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety processes, leveraging technology and data analytics.
  • Monitor and report on territory safety performance, including key metrics such as TIR (Total Incident Rate), LTIR (Lost Time Injuries Rate), and compliance rates.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional or risk assessment training are preferred.
  • More than 7 years in workplace safety management.
  • Can be located to work in Hua Mak
  • Able to travel as required
