Job Summary & Purpose:

Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and internal communication across all levels of the organization, including store employees, head office staff, and distribution center (DC) personnel. This role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, improving employee morale, and ensuring clear, effective communication through multiple internal media channels.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture

  • Execute engagement programs to enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Implement initiatives that foster a positive work environment and strengthen company culture across stores, head office, and DC.

  • Organize employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.

2. Internal Communication & Multi-Channel Media Management

  • Manage and optimize internal communication across multiple media platforms, including:

  • Work closely with senior management, HR, and department heads to ensure effective messaging and communication consistency.

3. Coordination with CRC & Implementation of Corporate Initiatives

  • Ensure all engagement and communication programs are aligned with CRC's corporate policies and strategies.

  • Collaborate with CRC to roll out company culture – ICARE and all related activities

  • Be the BU's representative to attend the meetings with CRC on the part of employee engagement.

4. Event & Program Management

  • Plan and manage employee engagement events such as town halls, workshops, and appreciation activities.

  • Manage the budget for employee engagement and internal communication initiatives, ensuring cost-effective execution.

5. Monitoring, Feedback & Reporting

  • Track and analyze engagement report (work with CRC) employee feedback, and communication effectiveness.

  • Conduct engagement surveys and feedback loops to assess employee satisfaction with communication channels.

  • Prepare engagement reports for senior management and highlight trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employee engagement, internal communication, or corporate communications, preferably in retail, wholesale, or distribution environments.

  • Strong experience in internal communication strategy development and multi-channel media management.

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with employees at all levels, including store staff, head office teams, and DC personnel.

  • Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting for engagement and communication activities.

  • Excellent project management and event planning skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR systems, digital communication tools, and internal media platforms.
