Job Description

  1. Manage Alibaba Data Center IT operations, involved in Data Center build-outs and scaling.Ensure business stability, balanced consideration of operation and maintenance quality, efficiency, cost and safety;

  2. Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs.

  3. Coordinate external vendors, ensure the resource's supply and delivery, match business's growth.

  4. Responsibility for outsourcing and vendor management of colocation Data Centre services providers to meet or exceed contracted performance SLA's.

  5. Knowledge of 24x7 onsite support procedure, continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.

  6. Responsibility for optimizing the IT operation and maintenance work of the data center, and formulating the operation and maintenance management system, SOP and EOP.

  7. Responsibility for on-site technical support of business equipment, understand business requirements and network structure, and effectively support data center operations through team cooperation.

Position Requirement

1.Bachelor's degree in Computer science or similar major.

  1. 5+ years experience in large global data center site operation.

  2. Deep knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains such as computer server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices.

  3. Highly driven, self-managed individual. Greatly developed problem analysis and critical thinking experience.

  4. Knowledge of data center construction procedure and capacity planning.

  5. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25% to 50%+ at times).

  6. Must be familiar with Excel and PowerPoint.

  7. Bilingual in Chinese is a must as the role needs to coordinate with the HQ in China.
