The Opportunity
We're looking for an Associate Partner / Partner to lead VENGRO's next chapter of growth in the South East Asia (SEA) market.
This role is designed for a
strategic leader, someone who thrives at the intersection of consulting, business growth, and regional leadership. You'll shape market entry, drive key partnerships, lead strategic projects, and build a high-performing consulting presence across SEA.
It's a role for someone ready to move from delivering consulting to
building a consulting business.
What You'll Do1. Drive Regional Growth
Lead business development and go-to-market initiatives for VENGRO across SEA.
Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and strategic accounts to accelerate growth.
Represent VENGRO at regional forums, summits, and leadership events.
2. Lead Client Engagements
Design and deliver high-impact consulting engagements across our four practice areas.
Build deep, trust-based relationships with CXOs and business leaders.
Ensure every engagement drives measurable outcomes, not just recommendations.
Manage regional P&L accountability and drive revenue growth
3. Build and Inspire Teams
Lead and mentor consultants, managers, and associates across markets.
Foster collaboration across geographies, working closely with teams in India, the Middle East, and SEA.
Build a culture of agility, innovation, and ownership.
4. Shape the VENGRO Brand in SEA
Contribute to thought leadership through insights, industry perspectives, and regional trend reports.
Help evolve our service portfolio to align with emerging SEA market needs.
Play a key role in brand positioning, partnerships, and ecosystem development.
Lead or contribute to intellectual capital — reports, insights, or playbooks on emerging SEA trends.
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in
management consulting, business strategy, or corporate advisory.Deep understanding of the SEA market with hands-on experience in
market expansion, transformation, or business leadership
.
- Proven ability to
win and deliver
complex consulting engagements.
- Strong commercial
acumen and network (
CXOs, founders, and industry leaders)
across key SEA markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines).
Leadership experience managing teams, practices, or multi-country engagements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced,
remote-first environment.Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to build, grow, and own outcomes.
Ability to travel within SEA as required (if needed)
Nice-to-Have
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in
business, strategy, or management
.
Previous leadership experience in top-tier consulting or growth advisory firms.
Experience in
digital transformation, PE advisory, or innovation consulting
.
Sector experience in
technology, consumer, manufacturing, or services.Multi-lingual skills across SEA languages (Thai, Bahasa, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Malay).
Prior experience
managing P&L
or leading a consulting vertical.
