Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Thai Time)

Start Date: Monday, January 5th

Reporting To: Finance Manager


Position: Payroll Specialist

Hireworx is seeking an experienced, accurate, and dependable Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for 4 companies with approximately 60 staff. This role covers both Thai and New Zealand payroll, and full training will be provided for our payroll systems and New Zealand employment regulations.

Hireworx is a New Zealand–owned company with administration and marketing support based in Bangkok. We are looking for a professional, detail-focused individual to join our growing team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle payroll for employees in Thailand and New Zealand
  • Ensure accurate and timely salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and payments
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with Thai laws; NZ compliance training provided
  • Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and statutory filings
  • Coordinate with HR and management on staff changes
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally
  • Ensure high levels of confidentiality and data accuracy
  • Report directly to the Finance Manager

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Thai payroll, tax, and social security systems
  • Willingness to learn New Zealand payroll and employment law
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls efficiently and accurately
