JOB SUMMARY
: Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at improving business processes, defining requirements, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Sr. BA expected to have a deeper strategic impact, manage more complex projects, and mentor junior colleagues, whereas BAs focus more on executing specific tasks and supporting larger projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead internally and externally to identify data needs to achieve the business objectives, including business partners.
  • Lead the solution design process and oversee validation activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead process with internal and external to design and manage customer journey and customer value
  • Work closely with all units to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision - makers
  • Understand business requirements and use cases, translate into data requirements, and define the required business input into various data components
  • Work with Data Management and Data Technology Platform teams, define the data business requirement and solution to meet the overall business requirements
  • Design, discover and manage customer journey by working with Business Units and Data Management team, looking at data through data selection, capture, transform, integrate, and virtualize to support the business use case
  • Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
  • Manage relationships with a broader range of stakeholders, including executive-level, and handle more complex stakeholder needs.
  • Mentor junior business analysts, provide guidance on best practices, and lead workshops and meetings.

KEY MEASUREMENTS

  • Percentage of accurately captured and documented requirements.
  • Percentage of projects or milestones delivered on time.
  • Stakeholder feedback scores or survey

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience +10 years in the data analytics lifecycle including problem identification,
  • measurement/matrix, exploratory data analysis and data insight presentation
  • Experience in either open source or proprietary software such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI or Rapid Miner
  • Experience in integrating new systems and processes with existing ones and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.
  • Experience in python/r programming is a plus.
