About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team at one of Regional bank in Thailand. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit analysis processes and providing strategic insights to support the company's lending decisions. Based in Bangkok, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organisation's financial portfolio and contributing to its overall success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments and analyses on loan applications and existing borrowers
  2. Developing and implementing robust credit policies and procedures to ensure the company's lending practices adhere to industry regulations and best practices
  3. Monitoring and evaluating the company's credit portfolio, identifying potential risks, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies
  4. Providing expert guidance and training to the credit analysis team to enhance their skills and decision-making capabilities
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales and operations, to provide credit-related insights and support business growth initiatives
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the company's credit risk management framework

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  2. Deep understanding of credit analysis methodologies, financial modelling, and risk assessment techniques
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  5. Proven track record of developing and implementing credit policies and procedures that enhance an organisation's overall risk management
  6. Thorough knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry best practices
  7. Proficiency in using credit analysis software and data management tools
