Job Title:** Service Associate (Senior Teller)

Job Summary

The Service Associate (Senior Teller) plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and efficient banking transactions at UOB (Thai). This position is responsible for handling complex teller operations, supporting junior staff, and ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience while adhering to all bank policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

* Process a wide range of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, bill payments, foreign currency exchange, and other financial services.
* Handle and resolve more complex customer inquiries and transaction issues, escalating to management when necessary.
* Verify and balance cash drawer daily, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash management policies.
* Provide guidance and support to junior tellers, assisting with training and problem-solving.
* Identify and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services to customers based on their needs, contributing to branch sales targets.
* Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all customer interactions.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing personalized and excellent service.
* Participate in branch meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or superior.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Teller or in a similar customer service role within a financial institution.
* Proven track record of accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
* Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
* Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
* Proficiency in using banking software and computer applications.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
* A strong commitment to customer service excellence and ethical conduct.
* Fluency in Thai and a good command of English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
