KORA Climate's roles

KORA Climate acts as the national coordination and implementation support partner for approximately 6 months on a project with an international IT partner.

KORA Climate ensures the technical work led by the partner integrates seamlessly with Thailand's institutional environment, stakeholders, and long-term implementation needs.

Specifically, KORA:

Leads inception and stakeholder engagement
, managing logistics, and supporting translation and communications.

Facilitates access to national information and institutions
during the review of existing IT systems and processes.

·       
Reviews technical designs
to ensure alignment with Thailand's regulatory and policy framework.

·       
Supports system localisation
, including interface adaptation and contextual inputs during configuration.

·       
Coordinates and engages Thai stakeholders
during testing and demonstrations, collecting and communicating feedback.

·       
Assists with capacity building logistics
, interpretation, and stakeholder participation during training activities.

·       
Supports preparation of final project documentation
, ensuring national context is accurately represented and liaising with Thai public sector partners through completion.

Role of IT support description

This contract role is for a Thai BA/IT Liaison – IT Project / Web Portal, located in Bangkok, with flexibility for occasional remote work.

  • Be the on-the-ground extension of our business analysis and engineering team.
  • Facilitate Thai stakeholder sessions, translate requirements, and keep delivery moving locally. This is not a lead role.

What will you do?

  • Run meetings and workshops in Thai; capture minutes, decisions, and sign-offs
  • Assist in business analysis: turn requirements elicited from users in Thai into user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple wireframes
  • Coordinate UAT planning, test execution, defect tracking, and re-tests
  • Assist in planning hosting arrangements / liaise with local providers
  • Support training, handover, and warranty support channels in Thai business hours

Qualifications

  • Native Thai, fluent English
  • 5 years in BA/PMO/IT analyst roles on public-sector or donor-funded IT projects
  • Technical fluency and some experience with PHP, Python, HTML, JS, CSS, Windows Server, MS SQL, REST APIs, responsive front end
  • Hosting literacy - environments, sizing, monitoring, backups, incident paths
  • GIS basics - coordinates, simple overlap checks, open-source map libs.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder skills; confident with wireframing tools

  • Thai government portal experience and bilingual UI delivery
  • Portfolio of completed projects + role descriptions
  • Familiarity with Thai PDPA basics and practical implications
