Position: Computer Science Teacher

Curriculum: Cambridge (Primary / Lower Secondary / IGCSE / A-Level )

Location: Modern International School , Bangkok

Responsibilities
  • Teach Computer Science following the Cambridge Curriculum framework (e.g., Cambridge Primary Digital Literacy, Lower Secondary Computer Science, IGCSE Computer Science 0478, A-Level Computer Science 9618).
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and projects aligned with Cambridge learning objectives.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons that promote computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
  • Guide students in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and tools required by Cambridge standards.
  • Conduct practical classes, coding labs, robotics, or other ICT-related activities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide consistent academic feedback.
  • Prepare students for Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A-Level examinations.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development and school events.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related fields.
  • Teaching license or PGCE is an advantage.
  • Prior experience teaching in a Cambridge or international school is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of programming, algorithms, networks, data representation, and system fundamentals per Cambridge standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Strong English proficiency (speaking, writing, teaching).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with educational technology tools (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, LMS).
  • Experience in coding clubs, robotics, STEM projects, or competitions.
  • Passion for fostering computational thinking and digital innovation in students.
