Position: Head of Accounting & Finance

Direct report: Co-Founder & CFO

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Accounting & Finance to lead our finance function in Thailand. This role is a strategic partner to the CFO and acts as the key liaison between the Thai office and the regional finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the CFO to oversee all finance and accounting activities for the Thailand office.
  • Coordinate and align local finance operations with regional policies, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team to ensure high performance, professional growth, and effective succession planning.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Drive problem-solving initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple finance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial and strategic matters.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements in Thailand.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting & Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in multinational or regional companies; familiarity with working across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of building, coaching, and leading finance teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of translating financial insights into business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Thai.
  • Prefer candidate from background in E-Commerce, Consumer, FMCG, and Beauty.
