Job Purpose:

The Accounts Executive (Accountant) will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional responsible for managing the full cycle of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations. This role ensures the timely processing of sales, purchases, payments, and statutory compliance in alignment with organizational standards.

Sales & Accounts Receivable (A/R):

  • Perform daily operational sales postings for each center/location.
  • Create Razorpay payment links and ensure accurate cross-checking and posting of receipts.
  • Prepare and process corporate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Conduct proactive follow-ups on debtor due lists to ensure prompt collections.
  • Manage the encashment process of corporate invoices.

Purchases & Accounts Payable (A/P):

  • Collect, verify, and maintain vendor agreements and related documentation.
  • Generate and process purchase orders (POs) for reagents and store purchases.
  • Process vendor payments on scheduled dates (e.g., every Friday).
  • Review and reconcile creditor/vendor statements accurately.
  • Assist with monthly inventory management and reconciliation.

Monthly Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure timely calculation and payment of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and other taxes.
  • Manage and process Employee State Insurance (ESI) and Provident Fund (PF) payments.
  • Process and submit Professional Tax (PT) payments within statutory deadlines.

Payment Processing & Payroll:

  • Execute salary processing and disbursements in line with the payroll schedule.
  • Process commission, incentive, and staff welfare payments.
  • Review and reimburse travel and other staff expense claims.
  • Handle miscellaneous payments required by daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with online payment platforms (e.g., Razorpay) is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of statutory requirements including TDS, ESI, and PF regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
