Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor, configure, and maintain security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection).
  • Support daily SOC operations by analyzing alerts, investigating incidents, and escalating as needed.
  • Assist in incident triage, containment, and remediation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Work with external security service providers to ensure proper integration and performance of security solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security into systems and applications.
  • Contribute to security-related projects such as system upgrades, tool deployments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Document processes, configurations, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and audits.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve detection, response, and overall security posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in security engineering, SOC operations, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in supporting security projects and incident response activities.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, vulnerability scanners).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security fundamentals.
  • Awareness of common attack vectors, threat intelligence, and risk management practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.) is a plus.
