Responsible

  1. Payment Processing and Management

  2. Oversee and manage all international payment transactions, ensuring they meet accuracy, timeliness, and compliance standards.

  3. Monitor cash flow and ensure funding availability for overseas payments.
  4. Manage payments in line with exchange rates, associated fees, and payment schedules to minimize currency losses.

  5. Vendor and Financial Institution Coordination

  6. Serve as the primary liaison with banks and financial institutions regarding international transactions.

  7. Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure seamless transaction flows.

  8. Compliance and Risk Management

  9. Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations, including AML and KYC requirements.

  10. Identify and address risks linked to currency exchange rates, market fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.

  11. Process Optimization and System Management

  12. Analyze and improve payment workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  13. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement automated payment systems or ERP solutions to streamline operations.

  14. Reporting and Documentation

  15. Generate and review reports on international payment activities, including schedules, cost analysis, and currency trends.

  16. Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions to support auditing and regulatory requirements.

  17. Team Leadership and Development

  18. Lead and mentor a team of payment specialists, providing training and support for professional development.

  19. Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or treasury, with a focus on international payments.
  • Knowledge of international payment systems, foreign exchange management, and banking regulations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and payment platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy.
