About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our daily accounting operations. Based in Nonthaburi, the candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeless of financial reporting, and developing and implementing internal controls. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to mentor a team to success.

What you'll be doing

  1. General Ledger: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including reviewing and approving journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  2. AP/AR & Payroll: Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring efficient and accurate processing. Including invoice processing, payment authorization, and collections
  3. Audits & Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for external and internal auditors. Manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws and reporting requirements.
  4. Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  5. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring performance against the budget and reporting on variances.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements for accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  7. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support for special projects and initiatives as requested by senior management.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a financial accounting role, preferably in the retail and service industry
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • CPA or ACCA certification is preferred
