Role Description

We are seeking a Junior / Mid-Level Lighting Designer to support the design and delivery of creative and technically sound lighting solutions across a range of projects.

This role involves assisting with concept development, lighting calculations, design documentation, and coordination with internal teams, clients, and suppliers. The ideal candidate is passionate about lighting and eager to grow professionally under the guidance of senior designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing lighting concepts aligned with architectural and interior design intent
  • Prepare lighting layouts, calculations, and visualizations using Dialux, Relux, or equivalent software
  • Support the production of lighting drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation
  • Develop 3D models and lighting simulations as required
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, suppliers, and consultants
  • Assist in preparing design presentations and client-facing materials
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions
  • Support site inspections and on-site coordination during installation phases

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a related field
  • Junior Level: 1–3 years | Mid-Level: 3–5 years of experience in lighting design or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of Dialux / Relux, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office
  • Strong understanding of architectural and interior lighting principles
  • Experience in retail, residential, hospitality, or workplace projects is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical accuracy and design sensibility
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Site coordination and installation experience is a plus
