Cathcart is partnering with one of Thailand's leading digital platforms to hire a Head of Data & AI. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape the organisation's data vision, modernise their data ecosystem, and lead a growing team of data professionals.
If you've grown from a Data Science foundation into a strategic data leader, this is the opportunity to drive large-scale transformation and build a world-class data function.
What You'll Lead
- Shape and execute the company's long-term data vision and strategy
- Lead, develop, and expand a multidisciplinary data team (DE, DA, DS)
- Collaborate closely with PMO, business, product, and engineering teams
- Build and operate a modern, scalable data platform with robust ingestion, transformation, and governance
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all pipelines and systems
- Drive advanced initiatives in AI/ML, AIOps, automation, and data mobility
- Lead data governance aligned with PDPA, GDPR, and global standards
- Communicate strategy and insights to C-level executives and international stakeholders
- Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies to accelerate innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in data roles, including 3+ years in management
- Strong English communication skills
- Proven career growth from a Data Science background
- Data mobility, operations, and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated success managing and scaling data teams and platforms
- Excellent stakeholder and C-level communication skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency with dbt, Airbyte, BigQuery, Snowflake, Tableau, Looker
- Airflow, Kafka, and the Apache ecosystem, Data Lakehouse, AI/ML, AIOps
