Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesOverall responsibilities and duties:
Program Manufacturing Engineer involves designing and developing a production system for a program, ensuring compliance with Group standards and objectives. He/She also involves in PFMEA supporting, acting as an interface between the Program Core and Plant teams, managing production launches, reporting manufacturing risks, and ensuring successful milestones. The role also involves testing new models, evaluating equipment and processes, and supporting customer audits in production line.
The main missions of the role are:
- Ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering with product engineers.
- Develop, validate, and implement complete production systems including layout, process flow, equipment/tool interfaces, and documentation per program objectives and standards.
- Conduct PFMEA and risk analysis to support new model introduction and define mitigation plans.
- Act as the liaison between the Program Core Team and Plant Team to align manufacturing readiness.
- Manage production launch, ramp-up, and validate new jigs, equipment, processes, and floor layouts before mass production.
- Lead line installation, qualification, and resolve production line issues effectively.
- Support customer audits and ensure manufacturing milestones are met on time.
- Perform capacity analysis, cycle time studies, line balancing, manpower planning, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Execute trials for new models and processes, summarize results, and confirm process compatibility with new products.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any relating field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of EMS or Electronics for Automotive with knowledge of electronics assembly process flows (backend).
- Experience in production area, including a position in Manufacturing Engineer/ NPI Engineer/ Process Engineer/ Project Engineer
