Bangkok University is seeking an experienced Website & Digital Platform Specialist to oversee the university's main digital presence.
In this role, you will act as the Lead Product Owner. You are NOT required to write code, but you must possess a solid understanding of web architecture to effectively manage external vendors, translate business requirements into technical briefs, and ensure the final output meets our high standards for performance, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management & Technical Oversight
- Supplier Management: Serve as the main point of contact for external development agencies/vendors. Manage contracts, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Requirement Translation: Gather requirements from internal teams (Marketing, Academic Faculties) and translate them into clear Technical Briefs or User Stories for the suppliers.
- Quality Control (QC/UAT): Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that the vendor's work (coding, features, functions) meets the requirements and quality standards before going live.
2. Platform Strategy, UX & Performance
- Performance Monitoring: Direct vendors to fix technical issues related to Page Speed (Core Web Vitals), Mobile Responsiveness, and site stability.
- UX/UI Improvement: Analyze user behavior data and propose design/functional improvements to the vendor to enhance the User Experience (UX).
3. Advanced SEO & Global Visibility
- SEO Strategy: Define the SEO direction (Technical, On-page, Off-page) for both Domestic and International markets.
- Audit & Optimize: Regularly audit the website's SEO health and instruct vendors/team members to implement necessary fixes to maintain high search rankings.
4. Content Governance & Internal Service
- Response for Update: Act as the central hub for all website content updates. Receive requests from faculties/departments and ensure data is updated promptly and accurately.
- Marketing Content: Apply a Marketing Mindset to curate and edit content (English/Thai) on key landing pages to ensure it is persuasive and aligns with the university's branding.
5. System Integration (CRM)
Lead Journey & Segmentation: Map out the end-to-end Lead Journey from website visit to enrollment.
Data-Driven Problem Solving: Analyze data discrepancies to identify bottlenecks or errors in the integration flow.
- Data Flow Management: Oversee the integration between the website and the CRM System. Ensure lead data is captured correctly. If issues arise, investigate the root cause and coordinate with the vendor to fix it.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Web Management, Digital Product Management, or Technical SEO.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English Must be able to write/edit professional English content and manage international SEO.
Professional Expertise:
Deep understanding of CMS architecture (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
- Proven track record in Technical SEO, Page Speed Optimization, and Web Vitals.
- Experience in UX/UI principles and increasing conversion rates.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Ability to design systematic workflows and automation logic.
- Ability to write compelling Marketing Copy (Copywriting skill).
Leadership & Soft Skills:
Strong stakeholder management skills (Ability to communicate complex tech issues to non-tech staff).
