Job Title: Maintenance Engineer / Equipment Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support our fiber optic transceiver production line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the performance of high-precision equipment such as die attach machines, wire bonding machines, and other related production machinery. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, ensuring product quality, and improving overall manufacturing efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on die attach machines, wire bonding machines, and other production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to ensure minimal production downtime.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors for repair, spare parts, or technical support.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or process improvements.
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records in accordance with company standards.
  • Participate in equipment installation, setup, and calibration.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Support production and engineering teams in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
  • Train operators and junior technicians on basic machine care and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
  • 2–5 years experience in a maintenance role within an electronics, semiconductor, or fiber optic manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with die attach and wire bonding equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.
  • Basic understanding of cleanroom operations and ESD control.
  • Good communication skills in Thai and basic English (reading manuals/specs).
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts or support after-hours breakdowns if needed.
