About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical/Electrical to join our team at GAA Group Company Limited in Bangkok. As a full-time Senior Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical/Electrical, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, with a focus on the Mechanical/Electrical components. What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for components of construction projects
  • Negotiate and manage procurement contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they align with the approved budget
  • Provide valuable input during the tendering and procurement stages
  • Analyse and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents
  • Prepare progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mechanical construction projects or preferably with experience in Data Center or large-scale building projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the financial aspects of construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering , or a related field
